As the CEO of Southern Transformer Services since January 2024, Greg leads a dedicated team focused on delivering innovative, high-quality transformer solutions across the Southeast. His role involves driving strategic growth, optimizing operational efficiency, and fostering strong client relationships to meet the evolving needs of his industry. He prioritizes creating a collaborative environment where innovation thrives, guiding his team to develop cutting-edge services and expand their market presence.
Greg is also the owner of Blue Sand Mortgage, founded in 2018, where he oversees a business built on trust, integrity, and personalized financial solutions.
With over 20 years of experience in sales and leadership, Greg has developed expertise in strategic planning, team building, and client relationship management across diverse industries, including energy and financial services. He leads his teams to success by fostering accountability and creativity, turning challenges into opportunities, and driving sustainable growth. His leadership style blends analytical decision-making with a passion for inspiring teams to achieve their best. Outside of work, Greg spends quality time with his wife and three children, who inspire him daily and keep him grounded. He's a proud Auburn fan—War Eagle. Thomas Corbett, Owner and COO
Thomas Corbett is the Owner and Chief Operating Officer of Southern Transformer Services, LLC, and the Founder and CEO of TCOR Consulting Group. With over two decades of experience across the construction, transformer, and public service industries, Thomas brings a mission-driven, hands-on leadership style grounded in integrity, discipline, and a deep commitment to others.
Before founding TCOR Consulting in 2017, Thomas held key positions in the transformer industry — including eight years in business development at Emerald Transformer and time as a Sales Executive with Sunbelt Solomon Solutions. His earlier career also includes over 13 years in commercial and high-rise construction, with a technical focus in HVAC and electrical systems.
A U.S. Army veteran, Thomas served as an infantryman from 1995 to 1999, including deployment to Saudi Arabia during Operation Desert Focus. His military service has been recognized with multiple awards and instilled in him a lifelong dedication to excellence and accountability.
In addition to his corporate work, Thomas has served his local community as a Detention Deputy with the Walton County Sheriff's Office, where he was honored as 2019 Officer of the Year by the Florida Sheriffs Association. He also received a Life Saving Award for rescuing a choking child and initiating first aid during an active shooter situation.
Thomas studied at both Northwest Florida State College and the University of Kentucky. He lives by a strong personal code centered on faith, family, and service to others — values that continue to guide his leadership and business philosophy today.

Daniel Herring, Owner and CFO
Daniel Herring has served as Chief Financial Officer for Southern Transformer Services since January 2024. With over 20 years of experience in finance and sales, he drives strategic leadership and operational excellence.
For nine years, Daniel excelled as a business intermediary, facilitating transactions through skilled negotiation and market analysis, earning several industry awards. Previously, he spent eight years in sales, consistently exceeding performance targets. He holds a Business Administration and Finance degree from Auburn University and a Florida real estate license.
Deeply committed to community service, Daniel was Treasurer for Friends for Autism Awareness (2016–2023), strengthening support for autism-affected families, and served on the Board of Directors for the Brain Disorder Support Foundation. A dedicated youth coach, he has led basketball, softball, and baseball teams to championships, fostering teamwork. On his family’s farm, he oversees operations to produce high-quality beef and pork, supporting sustainable agriculture. At Cluster Springs Baptist Church, Daniel holds leadership roles, including teaching, and financial reporting, inspiring others through faith and service.
